Under 30 Changemakers was started by a small group of educational misfits who fell in love with learning. Each Summit, we invite alternative education experts from around the world to teach a sample class that can help you gain the skills you need to succeed.

Speaking with Confidence- Ready for your TED Talk? Kelsey Crouch coaches speakers on how to speak without nervousness and deliver the message of your life's work.
Sacred Gender Workshop: The Sacred Gender Workshop is a workshop designed for LGBTQ2 people to learn about the legacy of homoeroticism and transgenderism within spiritual contexts throughout history, through embodiment practices, song, lecture, reflection, discussion, meditation and film. Participants will leave the workshop with a greater understanding of the role that gender variant people have played as spiritual leaders within their communities, focusing on the southern Mediterranean region.

Share Your Story: Stories have power. When we harness the power of our own narratives, we can create change. Join us for a workshop focused on crafting performable, five-minute stories, building empathy and breaking stigma. Presented by Allie Cashel and Amanda Crommett from Suffering The Silence.
Courage Club: You will learn secrets to moving through fear, practice advanci toward the life you value even when anxiety arises, and take bold action on that thing you've been putting off which could make all the difference. Presented by Galen Bernard.
The Future of Social Impact Stories with Soraya Fouladi, Jacob Fohtung, Prince Olanrewaju Gideon

Cultural Crafting Workshop: Joining us all the way from Dubai, Bayo Hassan Bello has been empowering cultural arts throughout Africa and The Middle East through the AJALA artist's collective. He will show us how to handcraft art from our cultural roots through story, color, and ancestry.
A Celebration of Life Confetti Workshop: Play has become a long-forgotten art from childhood that rarely plays a role in our adult lives. Jelena Aleksich will walk you through how to surrender to joy and the uncontrollable parts of life as you get doused dancing in Confetti

What is the mission of Changemaker Summit?
Our mission is to equip changemakers with the skills they need to tackle the world's toughest problems while raising their levels of self-awareness. Also, our goal is to have everyone walk away from the conference with at least one close ally for life.

Is there an age minimum or maximum to attend?
No, we only keep our online communities for Under 30 Changemakers age-restricted upon admission. The Changemaker Summit is open to all ages.
If you are under the age of 18, we ask you have a parent sign a waiver acknowledging you are in our care or bring a parent along. We welcome people from all walks of life to teach, learn, and share their experiences at Changemaker Summit.

How do I register?
Right here! You can skip the hoopla and snag our super early bird registration for only $185 here.
Can we get a discount for group registrations?
Yes, we will be offering group registrations for communities and friends of 4 or more at $140/person while we are still in super early bird registration until April 1. Please request a group rate via email and we will send you a customized sales form.
Do you offer any scholarships or discounts for those flying in overseas or facing financial hardship?
Yes! We can offer partial scholarship with up to half off the price to a few attendees so we still cover basic cost to us. The partial scholarship is $90 total, paid over an amount of time that works for you. You can either pay the $90 upfront or a $30 deposit that counts toward your registration. Then you can choose to pay either $5/month for 6 months or $20/month for 3 months.
This partial scholarship is specially offered to Changemakers experiencing these circumstances:
Flying Internationally To Attend Summit • Mental or Physical Disability and Unable to Work • Dependent(s) • Major Debt • Low Income • Unemployed
You can apply here to receive the payment plan that is right for you. Those receiving scholarship are also prioritized to receive free/reduced cost housing during their stay.
This scholarship is limited, so please only apply if you really need it. If you do need it, sign up ASAP!
What is your cancellation, transfer, and refund policy?
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted via email. Cancellation requests received on or before July 7, 2017, will be refunded, minus a $80 administrative fee. Cancellation requests made after July 7, 2017, will not be refunded. Registrations are transferable to another person, with a $50 fee. Requests to transfer must be made via email by July 24, 2017. No-shows will not be issued a refund. No phone calls for cancellations and transfers, please.
I am not from the U.S. How can I obtain a Visa?
First, determine if you qualify under the Visa Waiver Program, which allows citizens of 27 countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business, for 90 days or less, without obtaining a visa. You may read about the Visa Waiver Program and the qualifying countries.
If you do not qualify for the Visa Waiver Program and need to obtain a Visa, you may learn about Visa procedures at U.S. Department of State Temporary Visitors. You must locate your nearest U.S. Embassy or consulate, and complete an electronic visa application that you can print and bring to your Visa interview. After you fully register for the Changemaker with payment, we can provide you with a letter confirming that you have registered and paid for attendance at the conference. You would bring this letter with you to your Visa interview.
Are rooms at hotels being reserved?
We plan on blocking rooms at a nearby hotel close to the venue at around $150/night. After you register, you will receive an Accommodations Form where you can fill out details on room preferences.
I want to organize an AirBnB with other Changemakers. How should I do that?
A day after you register you will be added to a secret Facebook group where you can post about organizing an AirBnB together. We will have a few contacts in the group who are AirBnB hosts who can offer group rates as low as $60/night per person.
Is there any way I can stay somewhere for free?
Yes, we will be matching some attendees with local Changemakers for free accommodation. All of our attendees who are either flying in internationally or facing financial hardship will be prioritized for NYC housing during the Summit. Fill out this form to apply.

How do I volunteer for Changemaker Summit?
All Summit volunteers join one of five committee teams– Storytelling (Design, Copyriting, Social Media), Event Planning, Food, Changemaker Relations, and Sponsorship. Right now we are looking for volunteers mostly on Event Planning and Food teams. You can fill out a form to volunteer here or learn more about each Summit Committee here. After you are accepted as a Summit Volunteer, you will gain access to your Committee files, group chat, onboarding docs, and more!
I live in NYC and would love to help Changemakers who are visiting. How can I help?
If you have free sleeping space(s) in your home, we would love to match our volunteers and Changemakers on need-based scholarship to housing in NYC. You can fill out this form so we know which amazing Changemakers to match you with. Please ask trusted NYC friends if they would like to help as well.
Is it possible for me to only volunteer on one or more days during Changemaker Summit without joining a Committee Team?
There will be around a dozen spots open for day-of volunteer positions during the Summit and for our underground afterparty, ChangeFest NYC. You must be a registered attendee to be a day-of volunteer and you will receive a $60 reimbursement for a day you volunteer.
